Developed by Rundisc and originally published by Focus Entertainment, Chants of Sennaar was first released in September 2023 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Playdigious has ported the game to mobile devices and released it on 26 August on Apple App Store and Google Play Store, upon which the game was featured on Apple in several markets globally.

Chants of Sennaar is a narrative-driven puzzle-adventure game. The PC and console versions have both garnered significant critical acclaim, winning Best Video Game, Best Independent Video Game, and Best Game Design at the 2024 Pégases Awards, as well as Best Indie Game at the New York Game Awards. It has also received nominations at international award shows such as the BAFTA Games Awards and the Hugo Awards. The PC version currently holds a 98/100 rating on Steam, the console version has an average rating of 4.82/5 on the PlayStation Store, and an aggregated score for both PC and console of 86/100 on Metacritic.
