Potion Permit up next for Playdigious growing portfolio
Fragbite Group AB’s (publ) (“Fragbite Group”) subsidiary Playdigious today announces the upcoming release of Potion Permit to mobile platforms in February 2024. A simulation role playing game, Potion Permit was first released in 2022 on PC and console.
Potion Permit is a simulation role playing game developed by MassHive Media. It was released in September 2022 on PC as well as on all major consoles, out of which Nintendo Switch has been the most successful platform to date for the game in terms of units sold. Potion Permit is part of the previously communicated expanded Playdigious pipeline of game releases for 2023 and 2024.
“Playdigious is continuing its expansion, both in terms number of games and release pace. In Potion Permit the team has identified another strong title which shows a lot of promise of success on mobile platforms. Playdigious also demonstrates their global reach by sourcing a game from Southeast Asia, further establishing their presence on the Asian market”, says Marcus Teilman, President and CEO, Fragbite Group.
“As we continue to expand our portfolio, it is important to also diversify and make sure we have titles that target wide groups of players, thus lowering our commercial risk. Potion Permit is a title which I believe complements Playdigious’ already successful portfolio with a kind of theme and gameplay that works well for younger audiences in general, and the Asian market in particular. With an already documented success on Nintendo Switch, and 50+ hours of unique gameplay, it has all the components needed and more to engage players on mobile,” says Abrial Da Costa, CEO, Playdigious.
Potion Permit is an open-ended simulation role playing game in which the player is a chemist and doctor in a small town. The game has many different kinds of features including mini games, making it a title targeted for a wide group of players. Playdigious has carefully redesigned Potion Permit for mobile, including functions such as a revamped interface, the possibility to save and share progress between Android devices and iOS devices, and MFi controller compatibility. Potion Permit will be released on February 6 2024, with the possibility to pre-order starting today.
